Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft CRM

Ignia raising profile of Microsoft CRM and SharePoint in Perth.

Based upon its strong Microsoft technology expertise, Ignia is engaging more and more clients using CRM and SharePoint technologies.

"A lot of people don't realise that you can get core SharePoint features for free when you have Windows 2003 server. That's a big deal for clients."

Jon Cahill describes the basic concept of Windows SharePoint Services (WSS)...

"WSS is the foundation of document management systems on the Microsoft platform. Customers can easily get major benefits within hours of installing it. And it's free!"

Chris Nurse, who joined Ignia in October added that Ignia will be running a number of small seminars for a select audience, and will be evangelising WSS as a solid way for clients to solvesome of their major headaches"

SharePoint can also grow to be instrumental in the way companies present critical information, such as sales details from a Microsoft CRM system.

SharePoint allows companies to easily store and organise information. It can help reduce company email significantly and ensures staff always have up-to-date information.
